Eagles Nest Gaming LLC Store Closed. Eagles Nest Gaming is a locally owned small business designed around the 'gamer', and not the 'sales numbers'. Board games can be played as well!

Owned and operated by gamers and hobbyists that want a place to play themselves, the entire approach of The Nest is to provide a local space to play a variety of games. While Warhammer 40k is the most popular, gaming and table space is provided for multiple games, from 40k, AoS, Bolt Action, Flames of War, any RPG like DnD or the like, tables may even be used for CCG's if people wish! We have a mi

nimum 4 tables always set up for main table top games like 40k/AoS, 2 tables for any use. We also have a side room for use as well, which can be used without reservstion, or can be reserved for a fee, and is even able for use by young children to play while parents play. We will have a small stock of supplies and products to start, and that will grow with sales and activity. We will be starting small and growing together so as not to over spend in the begining and allow us to do more for our players! As if we are our own strategy game and base builder, we'll grow and expand when resources and activity allows us, and will expand our product lines as interests in different things are discovered. We will also be buying, selling and trading games, table top armies, materials and the like. These will be able to use store credit or cash. So bare, and build, and grow with us!

Well, tis Game Over for Eagles Nest!

As of today, February 12th, we are CLOSED for business, with no intention of reopening.

We will be open this coming Saturday the 14th from 230/3pmish until 5/530pmish for a 'sell everything' type event.

All products on shelves and other paint products are 30% off.

All paints pots are 50% off.

Some terrain will be up for sale as well. Some of the tables are for sale as well, looking for $75 a table; good wood and construction, 6x4 standard gaming size, unstained.

Also, if you have any items/property here, make sure to come get it, as I can't guarantee it's presence after Saturday.

Notice for all:

Due to a breakdown of the stores heating system, we are announcing a formal closure effective immediately while this is being repaired/replaced by our landlord, due to the obvious time of year and temperatures.

We have been advised this repair could take several weeks, due to contractor's project backlog (which is true for every form of contractor work nowadays).

Now, that being said, we will be doing the following:

We will still be doing preorders/new release orders, and if you need/want something from The Nest, an appointment can be set up for you.

While I am not able too, Preston or Mike may be able to meet up with people willing to risk the lower temperatures for the time being, for a game or what not, you will need to confirm with them.

Please feel free to reach out if you have questions, hopefully this is able to be fixed in the shorter time frame then the later.

Store Closed Today; Saturday 10/25/25

My original plan was that we'd just be opening a little late, but due to overlapping issues, we're just having to be closed today in full instead.

Stay home, stay warm, get rested, and work on those piles of plastic shame!

Don't forget, we're now semi-open Sundays starting at noon, so come on in then for 40k and football!

Nest Store Schedules/updates/info:

So this is a bit of a cluster post, but I wanted to make several updates at the same time.

Back in January (if we can recall that far), we suffered a broken pipe at our home that caused significant damage, and we are just NOW finally approved for the repairs; these are slotted to take several weeks. We can not leave before the contractors are done for the day, which their shifts conflict a bit with our weekday (Monday's currently) coverage, so we will be closed for the next 3-4 Mondays while these repairs are completed; including today (15th).

We are, on the flip side, looking to at being open on Sundays for a while, starting next week Sunday (21st) from 1200pm-5pmish or so, thanks to our new helper Mike! These hours may fluctuate a bit given circumstances like normal, but that is the goal.

Also, please remember, that if you want any new releases see upcoming, stay in contact with me, as I get my order options 3 weeks prior to their release, BUT I only get 36ish hours to place our orders, and we don't generally cold stock items 'just cause'; pre-orders are the way to (almost) guarantee that you get the item/s you want.

We will probably continue along the lines of no tournaments until October, as we work to get things figured out and planned, and will hope to have those posted when I know more.

Enjoy your Labor Day getting your SGL stuff prepped, first games start this coming Friday!

Store Hours Adjustment:

We will be closed today (Wednesday), due to sick kiddo.

However, starting next week, we will be open on Mondays instead of Wednesday, as we work the floating weekday around scheduling and schooling complications.

We will also be starting 'technically officially' the Slow Grow League!

Eagles Nest Slow Grow League

We are going to be starting a Slow Grow League for anyone who wants to join in, veteran or newbie!

Conditions:

1) Pick an Army Faction and build a 750 point list

2) Play 4 games a Round (per Month) at The Nest against another member of the League, with the Mission Deck Cards, document results with The Nest; total Victory Points (no painted bonus). We will be playing up to at least 2,000 pts, so this will be obviously over several months.

We are going to be keeping the Mulligan System we used last time, after hearing multiple feedback backs on it. The main reason is that this league is supposed to be FUN, and not overly stressful on winning every single game; sometimes the games just ain that if a veteran with a large collection clashes with a newbie with a combat patrol and a few extras.
Players get ONE per month, must declare this before the game is played, and whatever the results are (better or worse) are documented and replace a current score.

3) When a new Round begins, you may ADD 250 points (point increase) to your current list, AND you may adjust/swap out up to 150 points from your Core List, as lists are not changeable during the Round, and will grow each round from your original Core List.

Note: Players must keep track of their ‘older round armies', incase older games need to be replaced due to Muligans or newbie players, or a player that loses a month of time for whatever reason.

4) I will post the Primary Misson Details, Secondary points are from the decks.

Entry Fee is $50 – There will be three (3) payouts this time:

1) 1st Place Winner of the League will win 50% of the entry fees

2) “Best Generalship and Theme” will tally thru the league and the winner will receive 25% of the entry fees; this is determined by how effective the player is and how thematic the player is.

3) “Couldn’t Catch A Break” Prize will tally thru the league and collect 25% of the entry fees; this is determined by all the bad luck that follows a player around throughout the league.
Note: Prize are in Store Credit

Perfect way to get into the game if your new to the hobby, great way to learn a new army!

Round 1 starts in September!
