I am writing this post today with a very special and important announcement. 16 years ago I created the first Lemongrass Home store. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this creative and entrepreneurial endeavor. I’ve poured my heart, my passion and all of my conviction into creating a store that my customers would truly enjoy and perhaps provide inspiration and happiness when they walk through the displays and look at all the beautifully curated products. Several years ago, I began thinking about a succession plan for the store and gradual transition to retirement. I am pleased to announce that I was able to find a buyer to carry on the legacy of Lemongrass in Grand Haven Michigan! Two weeks ago I signed the papers and sold my store. I am not going to lie, this decision was not made lightly, and was a very difficult one. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving all of my loyal customers, old and new, and friends that I have made over the last 15 years. I am so deeply grateful for your support of my business and to help me remain on Main street for the last 10 years. I’m going to miss each and every one of you and it’s going to be a huge adjustment for me. The good news is you will still have a beautiful store to shop in and you will still be serviced by my amazing staff (Bridget, Deb, Barb and Renee) who will continue to provide the most excellent customer service under the new ownership.
