It will be just a FUN and FREE event, let's get together (on YouTube or Facebook), for fabric inspiration, giveaways and more as we celebrate the fabric creativity, National Cartonnage Day and National Sewing Month, all together!!

When we think about creating with fabric, most of us naturally think about a needle and thread.
Sewing, quilting and embroidery are beautiful traditions that have inspired generations of makers….and I noticed many Cartonnage lovers are also passionate sewists and quilters.

But beautiful fabric has so many more possibilities!
Sometimes, instead of reaching for a needle and thread, we can grab a bottle of glue and a few simple materials and transform our favorite fabrics into beautiful, functional creations.

Boxes. Organizers. Covers. Keepsakes. Handmade gifts.
Even a Sewing Machine!

And I think this Fabric creativity must be celebrated! It make us happy, bring joyous moments into our lives and families…. and for that, I can't wait to celebrate with you - so SAVE THE DATE and we will have tons of fun!

Starting now we are with NEW opening hours for our local shop in Grand Haven, MI. Come to see our showroom, be inspired to use your fabrics in a different way, or find also some beautiful fabrics to start from!

We are located at 219 N 7th street, in Centertown, Grand Haven, MI and we now will be open to the public only Mondays and Thursdays from 11am to 5pm. Fridays only by appointment - so if you plan to come our way, please contact us in the website.

We are always open online, and we ship orders quickly!

What would you keep inside your Keepsake Box & Album? 💛
That's one of the things we love most about this project. There are so many ways to make it your own!

There’s something about Tim Holtz fabrics that makes every project feel full of character.
Vintage typography, maps, labels, textures, botanical prints, and unexpected details come together in fabrics that are so much fun to mix, coordinate, and create with.

For these Multi Function Boxes, we played with different Tim Holtz prints to create two completely different looks using the same project idea.

✨ Short or Long?
Both versions give you plenty of space to organize your favorite things, and the fabric combinations make each box truly unique.
That's one of our favorite things about cartonnage. Start with paperboard and fabric, add your own style, and create something beautiful, functional, and completely yours.

Making no-sew fabric boxes using the cartonnage technique is so fun, and it’s a great way of using fabrics in a different way while creating beautiful handmade gifts using a stash of fabrics you may have been collecting for a while.

DIY kits for this project and many more you can find in our shop at:

Materials are very simple. You will use our DIY kits that come with the thick chipboard precisely precut in the sizes and shapes needed, poster board, and any other papers or other things needed (except fabrics — use your own). And the best, the glue is Elmer’s Glue All — so easy to find! Very simple other materials needed, as you can see in the video and find on our website.

The Tea House Fabric Box is a DIY kit that comes with downloadable “written instruction with tons of pictures,” easy and quick to make. This video is showing in a quick and general way what cartonnage is about, so I hope you enjoy it!
