Rare Hoya alert 🌿

Our Hoya decipulae is BLOOMING in the shop right now!

This uncommon collector Hoya isn’t one you come across often, and getting to see those intricate blooms in person makes it even better. The flowers form these incredible little clusters of star-shaped blooms that are seriously worth a closer look.

Okay, plant people… this one has me curious.

This is a variegated Mickey Mouse Plant (Xanthosoma sagittifolium ‘Variegatum’) — often sold as “Mickey Mouse Alocasia,” although it’s actually a Xanthosoma.

But look closely at the leaves. See that unusual quilted, puckered texture?

This can happen while a leaf is developing, especially with highly variegated growth where the leaf tissue doesn’t expand completely evenly. It’s not considered a rare form on its own… BUT if this plant continues producing that same texture leaf after leaf, things could get interesting.

Consistent texture over several new leaves could point toward a stable mutation rather than just one funky leaf.

So for now, we’re watching this one. 👀🌿

And honestly, even without the texture—that dark green + chunky white variegation is GOOD. Available now!

MONSTERA MONDAY 🌿

This week’s feature is a RARE one — the Super Golden Monstera!

The Super Golden isn’t a Monstera you come across every day. Known for its incredibly bright yellow-to-lime foliage, this uncommon variety brings a completely different look to the classic Monstera we all know and love.

As it matures, expect those iconic splits and fenestrations paired with that unreal golden coloring. 💛

☀️ Bright, indirect light
💧 Water when the top couple inches are dry
🌱 Chunky, well-draining aroid soil
🪴 Give it something to climb for larger, more mature leaves
