Happy Labor Day! Please make The Bookman part of your Labor Day experience! The Bookman will be open on Monday, September 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Starting September 8, 2026, The Bookman hours will change to the following:

Mondays to Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sundays: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

If you made it to our special event with Julie Buntin, you know how grateful we are that she made the trip to Grand Haven to discuss her gripping new novel, Famous Men.

Julie generously pulled back the curtain on the process of writing her second novel, sharing the intricacies of her work and giving us such a thoughtful glimpse into her creative process. It was a truly special evening.
