Just because the FDA approved something doesn't mean you should put it on your skin. When I saw that the FDA approved a new sunscreen ingredient I knew I needed to look into it.

BEMT is the new sunscreen ingredient approved by the FDA, the first approval in 25 years. Except it's synthetic and petroleum-derived. So… we'll pass.
