You never know what history is hiding in an old guitar case!
I opened up an old case and found an absolute time capsule:
A 1891 copy of Winner’s Eureka Method for the Guitar! -Oliver Ditson Company-
Vintage Gibson Mona-Steel string box straight out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Classic C.F. Martin & Co. dealer string box from Nazareth, PA.
Plus a vintage tortoise-shell style pick!
It’s crazy to think about the musicians who held these decades ago. Standard reminder: always check the storage pockets before you let an old case go!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Nashville singer-songwriter and Grand Junction’s very own Matt Griffith stop by the shop!
It’s always awesome having local talent drop back in—especially someone who has gone on to build such an incredible career in Nashville as a performer, session guitarist, and producer.

🎸 Look who rolled into Downtown Grand Junction! 🎸
We had some incredibly talented company stop by J.B. Hart Music Co. today! Members of Wynonna Judd’s powerhouse band, The Big Noise, took some time out of their tour schedule to hang out, talk gear, and check out the shop.

Check out this vintage beauty!
Fender Triple Neck Console Steel Guitar.
If you've ever wondered why someone would need three necks on one instrument, it all comes down to tunings! Because players use a solid metal tone bar instead of fretting with their fingers, they can't easily change chords like on a standard guitar. Each of these necks is tuned to a completely different open chord (like C6 for Hawaiian jazz or E9 for classic country), allowing the player to switch styles mid-song with the flick of a switch.
