It was difficult for me to give this rainbow ombré basket weave quilt back to after I was done quilting it. I need to make more rainbow quilts, because they are so beautiful and fun. Heather wanted a circular design to compliment the geometric shape of the piecing and I think the spiral looks great. I also love the backing and the colorful binding.

This wonderful quilt was pieced by Caroline Blake and has uneven horizontal lines for the quilting. The pattern is Evening Sky by Terry Atkinson from the book Follow Your Heart. We here at Great Lakes Stitch Company have been busy quilting up a storm, but not so great at posting on social media. We are working on posting more often between running the long arm.

I just have to share when a plan works out closely to the way it was I saw it in my head. I have been working on creating quilting patterns and linking them to together to create a pattern for a block or border. I am excited to share the finished Night Sky Quilt soon.
