The Rustic Market Thrift Store is located in a spacious 13,000+ square foot building next to the Big Red Barn on 68th St and Madison Avenue in Cutlerville.

Hi, our names are Donna and Kathi. We are a mother daughter duo that loves volunteering at Rustic Market. Donna (Mom) has been volunteering for about 6 years and Kathi for about 3 years. Donna sorts and prices coats and Kathi washes dishes and prepares them to be stocked on shelves. Both also price and stock cosmetics and heath care items.
Donna has found Rustic Market a great place to keep active in retirement and Kathi enjoys using skills she has learned in a less stressful environment.
One of the things Donna likes best about her job is finding “treasures” in the pockets of coats people donate – she has found everything from firecrackers to a $50 bill. Both Donna and Kathi love the mission of Rustic Market in helping people at Pine Rest through the Patience Assistance fund.
When not volunteering at Rustic Market Donna keeps busy with also volunteering at Daily Bread and taking care of her granddaughter. Kathi enjoys knitting and making afghan blankets in her spare time.
Both enjoy the friendly volunteers and staff at Rustic Market and think it is a great place to volunteer their time.

Hi, my name is Kenny. I first started coming to Rustic Market as a child in the 1970’s, when it was just “the barn”. Today is the first time that I’ve been back in years, and was amazed at how much the facility has grown and the incredible amount of merchandise offered for sale. I came with my sister and we are definitely planning on returning more often (especially as my sister is an avid reader and loves all the books).
My most favorite item that I’ve purchased is a pair of Nike flip flops. I was really happy to find a “name brand” item. The prices here are amazing!
I love the mission of Rustic Market and that all net proceeds go to the Pine Rest Patience Assistance Fund. As someone who has received services from Pine Rest in the past, I know personally how helpful their services are and how much it helps patients to have the financial assistance provided by the Patient Assistance Fund. I greatly appreciate the services of Pine Rest and the fact that Rustic Market supports those services through the Patient Assistance Fund. (Information used with permission).
To customers, it is well worth the trip to Rustic Market. The prices are awesome and they have so much to offer. The staff is very friendly and helpful and that is much appreciated!
