I've started another self-imposed personal challenge. I have at least 30 Quilts of Valor tops to machine quilt and I'm already 2 weeks behind. Plan is to machine quilt 1 day. So, to keep me motivated, I'll post what I have done at the end of each week.

My personal December Challenge is to complete at least 10 Quilt of Valor UFO's. Some are mystery quilts, some retreat quilts, some just need borders and some are redo's. Think I'll start with the ones just need borders.

We all have personal reasons for quilting-mostly to help us feel productive. Combat Quilter, Andrew Lee, tells his story of how quilting is a game changer for him and how he helps others. Allen & I were privileged to spend time with Andrew at a QOV retreat last fall. His enthusiasm and energy is contagious.

I rec'd my December gift this weekend. A casual jacket created by our friend, Combat Quilter Andrew Lee, using a hand quilted vintage quilt. Takes care of my anniversary, birthday, and Christmas gifts. I've been wanting to do this with a vintage tablecloths, but this was alot easier.
