✨ We were honored to be part of the West Michigan WomanUp & Celebrate event!

Our founder and CEO, Paola Carlson, had the opportunity to share her journey as an entrepreneur, her experiences as a woman business owner in West Michigan, and the story behind Pochis Sweet Designs.

We are especially grateful to the Michigan Women Forward and the West Michigan community for their continued support throughout our journey. Their encouragement has helped us grow and share the flavors of Colombia with more people every year. 🇨🇴💛

During the event, we were also proud to showcase and promote our Colombian candies, giving attendees a sweet taste of our culture while celebrating the incredible achievements of women leaders across West Michigan.

Yesterday was something really special 🩷

We’re still processing what we experienced at Sharing Fears. A room full of powerful women, honest conversations, and a community that showed up with so much heart.

As business owners, it’s not always easy to talk about the hard parts. The fears, the doubts, the moments where you question everything. But yesterday, we did. And that’s where the magic happened.

We’re so grateful to have had the opportunity to share our stories and create a space where others felt seen, heard, and inspired. This is exactly why we do what we do. To empower our community and remind each other that we’re not alone in this journey.

And something we felt deeply yesterday… women are powerful. When we come together, support each other, and speak honestly, we build something so much bigger than ourselves.

This is just the beginning. We’re excited to continue creating more spaces like this and keep pushing entrepreneurs forward 🙌

building a business.
Fear of financial failure. Fear of not being enough.
