Member Spotlight: Redeeming Winds
One of the founding members of the Grandview Market Trail, Redeeming Winds is all about connecting people with local growers, makers, bakers, and experiences.

Located east of Grandview, Redeeming Winds hosts a Homestead Market on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from May through September, creating a place where the community can gather and discover locally produced goods. Their family homestead also offers rabbit meat, canned goods, spices, wellness tonics, and more.

What we love most about Redeeming Winds is their heart for building community and supporting other local producers. They embody what the Grandview Market Trail is all about—neighbors helping neighbors, sharing resources, and making it easier for people to discover local treasures close to home.

Their next Homestead Market is this Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Thank you, Redeeming Winds, for being a founding member and for helping grow something special in our community.

We are pleased to announce the talented musicians joining us for the Redeeming Winds Homestead Market this Saturday, June 20th!

The market runs from 9a–1p, and you can catch the Hawthorne Dreamers performing live from 10a–12p.

The Hawthorne Dreamers are a sibling duo from North Texas who have been playing traditional Irish music from an early age. They feel privileged to play a part in keeping the tradition alive, and love to put a personal flare on the tunes they share.

Their lively Irish music will make the perfect soundtrack for a morning spent shopping local, visiting with neighbors, and enjoying the market atmosphere.

Come support local farmers, makers, and musicians this Saturday at Redeeming Winds Homestead Market located at 5817 E FM 4 in Grandview, TX.

Here's another semi-local market doing great things in their community! If you are in Granbury I highly recommend visiting Hood County Farmers Market, and if you are not nearby to them, I encourage you to find a farmers market in your neighborhood and support your local farmers and makers. 🛍️

One thing we've learned over the years is that local farmers are not the enemy.

The real challenge isn't the farm down the road, the gardener selling tomatoes at a market, or the family raising produce on a few acres. The real challenge is a food system that ships produce thousands of miles before it reaches your plate.

At Hood County Farmers Market, we believe there is room for more than one farmer, more than one gardener, and more than one market. In fact, we need them.

When local growers succeed, our community becomes stronger. When more people choose locally grown food, more dollars stay in Hood County and the surrounding communities. When farmers share knowledge, support one another, and celebrate each other's successes, everyone benefits.

Competition isn't what built this market. Community did.

So whether you're growing one row of tomatoes or twenty acres of vegetables, whether you sell at our market, another market, or simply share with your neighbors, we're cheering you on.

The goal has never been to be the only farmer in town.

The goal is to make sure there are enough local farmers left that our community always has a choice.

Shop local. Support local. Grow local. ❤️🌱

More local produce available! Now's prime Texas summer produce time! 🥒🍅

Watch for some amazing pickled okra in our booth at the next Redeeming Winds Homestead Market on June 20th - the okra from Hidden Spring Acres is what makes it the best! It is the most tender variety I've ever had. 🤤

My okra is really starting to hit. Let me know if you need any. Jambalaya okra… dark green and tender. Picking around 2 pounds/day and I have around 3 days worth in the fridge. $4.50/lb
