We are planning to have several local & national celebrities in attendance and have began negotiation with TV personalities and the hosts of several cable reality shows like Duck Dynasty and radio talk show hosts like Clyde Lewis or Alex Jones, shooting & hunting experts, survival experts like Bear Grits & relocation specialists like Joel Skousen, Politicians like Congressman Justin Amash and other local elected representatives, Presidential candidate and long time congressman Ron Paul his son Sen. Rand Paul, Political Parties, all the pro Constitution/ 2nd amendment/gun groups, pro hunting, fishing and camping groups, scouts and National Guard. We have secured World Class Martial Artist Mariah Moore to do weapons demonstrations & hold self defense classes. She is 14 Time World Champion and 9 Time National Champion Martial Artist & Mixed Weapons Master at age 20. Her performance & anti bully thru self defense message will get us on all the local TV media. She is a media darling & all the local AM /PM community programs should blow her up & make her & our show a topic for local radio Talk shows & DJ’s and carry us to print. With all of the 2nd Amendment attention and the Gov’t talking about restricting gun purchases, Gun Shows are drawing record crowds of anywhere from 10,000 in medium cities to almost 20,000 in attendance in major cities. Add to that the Huffington Post just announcing that gun sales to woman have reaches an all time record high and has more than doubled in the last decade. Our goal is to market this event not only to the usual gun geek, hunting and survival types but to really push this event to the ladies by asking all of our vendors to bring in inventory that supports this such as Dessert Eagle’s & Smith & Wesson’s “Hello Kitty” line as well as the pink G***k, pastel AR-15 parts, female instructors and more. With a three day gun show around Mother’s day, the current demand for fi****ms, a huge 2nd amendment awakening, increased female interest, several celebrity appearances all combined with a city the size of Grand Rapids with its rural, conservative population, we should be able to set a national gun show record of over 30,000 in attendance but are reasonably shooting for upwards of 15,000 paid in attendance. Our Admission* prices will be $10/$15 advance sale and $15/$20 at the door. You can see how these numbers add up very quickly. With a meager turn out of only 5,000 people in attendance the door is between $50,000 & $100,000. Now figure the numbers if we set attendance records as mentioned above you get an idea of the potential for this event if it is performed and marketed as laid out. We have also hired a consultant from Kentucky who has been involved in gun shows for decades to help us with the technical aspects. We have had a huge response from class 3 fire arms dealers, survivalist suppliers and emergency power product dealers over the spring and early this summer and have not even started to promote. Word of mouth has been huge already due to the fact that there is no big gun shows at this time due to character issues with the last promoter. What we are looking for at this time is raise $20,000 plus for the company to secure the venue for these dates, deposits for Entertainers, their accommodations, insurance and the advertising to promote the event although we can proceed with as little as $10,000.
