Freed Instrument Services We service all makes and models of guitars and amplifiers. Vintage tube amps are our specialty. Over 40 years experience. I do full repairs and restorations.

I have been servicing guitars and amplifiers since 1974. I grew up with all tube gear when it that was all there was. Then everything went to solid state in the 1980's-90's and then guitarist really became aware of the missing tube "sound" and it all came back with a vengeance! Guitar work too, Full refrets, setups, pickups, electronics and any custom work you can dream up too including custom pearl inlay work.

Finally finished the Jimmy Page “Dragon” 1959 Telecaster replica guitar. Jimmy used it with Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin for first two LZ albums. He stripped the guitar and hand painted the two color dragon. Then he made custom pickguard with a reflective paper behind it.
While out on tour with LZ a friend took guitar and stripped it!! Jimmy was so upset he kept the neck and said the body will never see the light of day again. Painting supplied by Linda Freed
