🎉🌸 HELP US WISH THE MAN BEHIND THE SCENES A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🌸🎉

Today we’re celebrating someone who may not always be in the pictures or standing behind the counter, but who is a HUGE part of Victoria’s Floral — my husband, Joe Kasper. ❤️

He’s the man behind so much of what happens around here. He’s the one who comes up with (and helps bring to life!) many of our window displays, moves the heavy stuff, fixes what needs fixing, kills all the bugs, and somehow always finds a way to help make everything work. 😂

But more importantly, he’s the man behind me. ❤️

I truly couldn’t imagine my life without him. And I couldn’t imagine raising our two girls without him by my side. One of my favorite things in this life is watching our girls call him “Daddy.” 🥹❤️ Seeing the love they have for him is something I’ll never take for granted.

Our little family, our little shop, and so many of the memories we’ve created wouldn’t be the same without him.

And while today is a day of celebration for our family, we also recognize that September 11th is a day of remembrance for so many. Twenty-five years later, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who continue to carry that loss, and all of the heroes and first responders who gave so much that day. 🇺🇸❤️

It’s a reminder that life is precious, tomorrow is never promised, and the people we love are truly our greatest gifts.

So today, from all of us at Victoria’s Floral, please help me wish Joe a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎉

Joe, thank you for being my partner in life, my partner in this crazy little business, and the kind of dad our girls are so incredibly lucky to have.

We love you more than you know. ❤️

A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT KINDNESS. ❤️

There is a real person behind every small business.

You see the storefront. You see the flowers. You see the window display.

You don’t see the late nights, the days off spent filling orders and making deliveries, sourcing quality flowers, giving back to the community—or the family behind it all.

And in our little shop, my daughters are a big part of the creative process. They are planners, idea-makers, decorators and some of our biggest cheerleaders when it comes to our windows. They get genuinely excited about creating something that families can enjoy.

My fall window isn’t finished yet. We spent three extra hours working on it Sunday, and eventually we had to stop and go home. We’ll finish it when we can.

That’s why being stopped yesterday and told someone was “disappointed” in our window—while it wasn’t even finished—really hurt.

We have families come into the shop all the time to tell us how much they love our windows and how creative they are. Some stop to take pictures. That’s exactly why we put so much heart into them.

But yesterday’s comment didn’t just hurt me. It crushed my girls, too.

And it reminded me of something we could all use a little more of:

Kindness.

If something isn’t finished, give it time.
If something isn’t your style, that’s okay.
If you prefer another business, that’s okay too.

But remember that there are people, families, dreams and countless hours of work behind the things you see in your community.

Small businesses don’t need everyone to love everything they do.

They just need a little grace.

And if you can’t offer that, sometimes the kindest thing you can do is simply keep walking. ❤️

As we enjoy this long weekend and soak up the last little bits of summer, we’re also getting ready to welcome one of our favorite seasons… FALL! 🍂🧡

It’s time to say goodbye to those bright summer blooms and hello to the warm, rich, beautiful colors of autumn. 🍁🌻🌹

To everyone working hard today—and every day—thank you for all that you do to keep our families, businesses, and community blooming. ❤️

Whether you’re grilling with family, relaxing, enjoying the sunshine, or squeezing in one last summer adventure, we hope your Labor Day is filled with good people, good memories, and maybe a few flowers just because. 💐

I walked in this morning to open the shop and found the sweetest little surprise waiting for me on my doorstep. 🥹💜

A little painted rock that simply says “Bloom.” 🌸

I don’t know who left it, but if you’re reading this… thank you. You have no idea how much this little gesture made me smile.

Running a small business can be a lot sometimes. There are good days, hard days, busy days, and days when you wonder if you’re making a difference.

And then something as simple as this shows up at your door. ❤️

A little reminder to keep going, keep growing, and bloom where you’re planted. 🌷

So to whoever left this for me — thank you for the reminder that kindness really does matter.
