REGIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD

REMINDER. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 31, 2022 AT 5:00 PM

There will be one vacancy and one member seeking reappointment on the Airport Authority Board effective January 1, 2023. The City Commission is accepting applications for a three-year term through December 31, 2025.

The Regional Airport Authority is the governing body and policy setting board for the operation and management of the Great Falls International Airport. The board is responsible for employing the Airport Director, who hires staff and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Airport. The Board consists of seven members, appointed to three-year terms. The City Commission appoints four members and the Cascade County Commission appoints three members. Members serve without compensation. The Airport Authority Board generally meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. For more information about the roles and responsibilities of serving on the Board, contact John Faulkner at 727-3404. Applicants may be interviewed by the Board and/or City Commission.

Application deadline is October 31, 2022, by 5:00 p.m.

Be Strong Be Aware Live Confidently

Many times we Thank God that we live in Great Falls
and don't have to deal with the so called “Big City” crime
problems. However, in many ways, Great Falls is no
different when it comes to crime.

Great Falls does have issues that we as citizens need
to be aware of at all times. We need to watch everything,
people, things, what looks out of place, watch hands,
eyes and feet of others. Create a safer environment and
reduce your risks by planning for the unexpected.

This presentation will cover basic skills of situational
awareness and safety information for everyday living
by increasing confidence levels and learning to recognize
and avoid potentially dangerous situations you may
encounter.

Please join us for this one night presentation. This
presentation is open to all, both women and men 18 years
of age or older (10-17 accompanied by a parent) and
designed to be information packed and suitable for
everyone.
