Quilter confession time!

Anytime I see a quilt reimagined as a coat or bag, I immediately fall in love and want one. I also feel incredibly guilty about cutting into a vintage or antique quilt for any reason! Am I the only one?

I picked up this stunning antique double wedding ring quilt at a shop in Washington on a visit to see family this past week.

Delivery Days are our favorite!

This brand new 40yd roll of unbleached Warm and Natural Batting is ready for the 1st quilt of the week to be loaded up on Luna (the long-arm machine). Prefer a different batting? No problem! We have lots of options.

Ever wondered how those perfectly stitched quilts are made? Let me introduce you to the magic of long-arm quilting!

Instead of squeezing a quilt through a small sewing machine, a long-arm machine let's the machine glide over the quilt - kind of like drawing on fabric!

It stitches together all the layers (top, batting, and backing) with beautiful patterns. It makes intricate designs faster and smoother, and turns a cozy quilt into a true piece of art.
