Opening night for Proyecto Iluminador at GALLERY BY ONE OF ONE ✨

It was a pleasure being the florist designer for this event. My vision for these floral arrangements was to represent our Hispanic culture through bright colors, artisanal clay jars, and aromatic Cempasúchil. The messy, yet aesthetically pleasing, and cozy feel these flowers give feels just like home. 🫶🏽

This Hispanic Heritage Month exhibition highlights local Hispanic voices through photography and storytelling.

The exhibition will be on view through Oct. 16. Free to attend at One of One Gallery.

Por qué regalamos flores amarillas el 21 de marzo y el 21 de septiembre? 💛💐

Esta tradición se hizo popular gracias a la serie argentina Floricienta y su famosa canción “Flores Amarillas,” convirtiendo las flores amarillas en un símbolo de amor, ilusión y nuevos comienzos. 🌻

Las fechas están relacionadas con la llegada de la primavera en cada hemisferio:
🌼 21 de marzo: primavera en el Hemisferio Norte
🌼 21 de septiembre: primavera en el Hemisferio Sur

Aunque aquí estamos en el Hemisferio Norte y tradicionalmente se celebra en marzo, cada vez más personas también celebran el 21 de septiembre regalando flores amarillas. 💛 Y como ustedes nos las están pidiendo…por supuesto que vamos a celebrarlo con ustedes! 🌻

I realized I post my rose bouquets more than my mixed ones, and these truly deserve more admiration!😍☀️💛
I enjoy mixing different flowers and creating eye candy. The request for this bouquet was yellow theme. Choosing the buttery, yellow pastel with hints of baby pink just gives a soft and beautiful appearance. 🤩

Thank you to everyone who supports my beloved flower shop 💝💐 Gratitude goes beyond each purchase. Thank you to those who refer me to your family and friends, thank you to those who engage in my social media, thank you to those who compliment my art, thank you for considering me as your florist. 🙏🌸

For the most part, I currently run this business on my own as the owner. Waking up every day to design, answer phone calls and messages, operate and maintain the shop, engage on social media, everything! At times it can be challenging and exhausting, but everyday I am determined and happy to wake up and be able to provide our community with my beautiful talent.
