Mystic and the Secret of Happiness by Anne-Claire Szubaniska is a novel about quieting the negative noise in your mind to focus on joy, something that Lyla practices every day!! Lyla looks forward to her daily brushing, treats, and nap with her best friend Cat Grandpa Terry.

Lyla is available for adoption through Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary, she is a partially paralyzed kitty who requires multiple expressions every day and has a special diet. Her purrrfect furever home would include someone experienced in caring for paralyzed cats. 🩷

🐈💕📖 Join us for a pop-up book club featuring James Herriot’s novel “Cat Stories” on June 26th at 6pm! 📚 “Cat Stories” (description below) can be purchased at any retailer, though we highly recommend supporting local and getting a copy from our friends at Lion's Mouth Bookstore in Green Bay! Local libraries are always an option too!

We do not have copies available at Haven Books, however we do have free photocopies of the first chapter for anyone who wants to participate but cannot obtain a the book. *For photocopies just stop into Haven Books during open hours and ask staff for one!* This casual and cozy book discussion will have additional input from our rescue kitty friends here at the sanctuary, as they will be free-roaming and hanging out! 🐈🐾😺

Yoga With Kitties is SOO BACK! 😺🐾 That's right, our instructor is back in action and ready to vibe with you and the kitties during one of our most paw-pular events again! 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️🧘 Tickets available now for upcoming classes on June 13th and 27th (9:30am-10:30am here at Safe Haven) Check out www.safehavenpet.org/events to sign up for your new favorite summer activity! 💓 ALL proceeds go towards the care of the animals!

No experience needed, all ages allowed, however not recommended for younger kiddos who may be a bit too distracted for this relaxing experience (for your interested littles go check out our *Cat Camp* events in August featuring kid-specific yoga classes on the itinerary!)

✨Join us for Children's Story Hour with Kitties TOMROROW morning (6/11)! 📖✨ From 11am-12pm every other Thursday kiddos can enjoy fun reads with the SHPS team AND rescue cats in our used bookstore!📚🐾😻 Story Hour is FREE, however a $3 donation per kiddo is always appreciated if possible for the care of our kitties.
