I can only imagine what those early settlers had to endure, making the trek from back east, to an unknown and unfamiliar landscape that was the extremely harsh and dangerous American west. And now, a soda ash plant is operated on the direct path they took….crazy world we live in.

It’s only taken me about 26 years, but I finally had to bust out the Snap-On (Blue Point) tap and die set that I’m sure I paid Dave Pitt too much money for back in the day!!
