Happy Labor Day everyone! Yesterday’s Pete Jacobs Memorial was sure one to remember with Trey Jacobs winning his first All Star Circuit of Champions race worth $10,000 in a race named after his great grandfather. Congratulations Trey!

Sink’s Garage also hosted a pre-race autograph session at Wayne County Speedway and I want to thank several people who made the event possible.

I want to thank Dean Jacobs, Kenny Jacobs and Jac Haudenschild for donating their time to sign autographs. There was some great conversations held for sure.

I want to also thank track owner Jason Flory, General Manager Alan Hutchison, Sherry Myers, Mike Swanger and Ryan Pearson for their contributions to help make the event a success.

I want to thank Stewart Lehman for his assistance as well.

Finally, I want to thank all of the fans that came out to meet, talk to, and get signatures from the drivers.

The anticipation is building for today’s Jac Haudenschild, Kenny Jacobs and Dean Jacobs autograph session being held from 4-4:45 PM. Gates open at Wayne County Speedway at 3 PM so grab your friends and head down for an awesome sprint car race with the All Star Circuit of Champions celebrating the track history with the running of the Pete Jacobs Memorial!

With today’s rainout of the Bob Chaney Memorial, all efforts are now focused on the $10,000 to win Pete Jacobs Memorial tomorrow Sunday September 6th! Please come out to Wayne County Speedway early and enjoy the big race atmosphere including the autograph session with Jac Haudenschild, Dean Jacobs and Kenny Jacobs! This session will run from 4:00-4:45! We will have a limited number of hero cards for the drivers to sign and Sink’s Garage will have a limited number of Diecast, apparel and trading cards available for sale! Plus we have the brand new Jac Haudenschild Sprint Legends t-shirts and wing panels available now as well!

So let’s get to know Jac Haudenschild a bit better. Jac was inducted into the National Sprint car Hall of Fame in the class of 2009. The “Wild Child” and inventor of the “Haud Line” has 72 World of Outlaws wins, won the King’s Royal 3 times (1987, 1994, & 1998) and also won the Mopar Million at Eldora in 2003. Jac has 1 All Star Circuit of Champions win at Wayne County Speedway. He and his wife Patty have a son named Sheldon that is red hot on the World of Outlaws tour right now! So come out and meet these greats and watch what is setting up to be an incredible night of sprint car racing!!

Happy Friday race fans! Let’s get to know the second man who is going to sign autographs on Sunday September 6th at Wayne County Speedway before the Pete Jacobs Memorial get going! Last night we featured The “Mouse” Kenny Jacobs. Tonight, we feature Kenny’s brother Dean! Thanks again to Mike Swanger and his incredible stats, Dean Jacobs won the 2001 Ohio Sprint Speedweek title and has two All Star Circuit of Champions wins at “the County”! Because of my age, I will always associate Dean with the Frigidaire sponsorship on his winged sprint car! Casting aside my memories, Dean has won 4 Wayne County Speedway track championships starting in 1992 and continuing from 2019-2021. Dean is also credited with 1 World of Outlaws win! Stop out early and get a signature from Dean & Kenny Jacobs as well as
Mr. Wild Child, Jac Haudenschild from 4-4:45 Sunday!!

Sink’s Garage will also have another member of Wayne County sprint car royalty souvenirs available this weekend at the track! It’s Thursday night September 3rd and that means that the Labor Day Weekend racing schedule is about to launch! If you like 410 All Star Circuit of Champions sprints, UMP modifieds, and Street Stocks, then Wayne County Speedway is the place to be this Saturday and Sunday! We have an autograph session planned for Sunday September 6th from 4-4:45 PM with Kenny & Dean Jacobs as well as the Wild Child Jac Haudenschild!

Let’s get to know a little bit more about one of our signers, Kenny “Mouse” Jacobs! Kenny is a 2007 inductee to the Sprint car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, IA. He has 9 World of Outlaws wins, 95 All Star Circuit of Champions wins to go along with 4 All Stars championships (‘98, ‘99, ‘00, and 2001)! Kenny won the Ohio Sprint Speedweek championship in 2000 AND he’s won two All Stars races at “the”Wayne County Speedway! So come out and say hello to Kenny on Sunday!!
