𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿

Since 2017, the Beyond Homeless Boutique and Thrift Store has proudly offered quality new, gently used, and vintage clothing, accessories, books, toys, and household items to support the mission and services of Beyond Homeless, Inc.

Over the past several years, increased donations, limited storage capacity, rising off-site storage costs, and declining sales have created significant operational challenges. After carefully exploring multiple options, the Beyond Homeless, Inc. Board of Directors made the difficult decision on May 18, 2026, to permanently close the Boutique and Thrift Store effective June 1, 2026.

This transition will allow Beyond Homeless, Inc. to focus more fully on its core mission of providing emergency shelter and homeless prevention services. As emergency shelters across the state continue to close due to funding losses, it is critical that we adapt to meet the growing needs of the community as the only emergency shelter serving a six-county region.

The closure of the 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 will also create opportunities to expand Day Shelter Services, including outreach and housing navigation support for individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has shopped, donated, volunteered, and supported the Boutique and Thrift Store over the past nine years. Your generosity has helped empower individuals and families to move beyond homelessness, and we are sincerely thankful for your continued support of our mission.
