BBQ Customer Experience Specialist

About Us: Mason-Dixon BBQ helps everyone from backyard grillers to competition pitmasters get more out of their outdoor cooking. We offer premium grills, smokers, rubs, sauces, accessories, and friendly, knowledgeable service.
The Opportunity: This part-time position combines customer service, product education, light warehouse work, and support for in-store events. No BBQ expert required—we’ll train you!
Ideal Candidate: Retired or semi-retired and looking to work a couple of days a week. A college student seeking flexible, part-time work. Someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and getting hands-on. A BBQ, grilling, or outdoor cooking enthusiast—or someone eager to learn.
What You'll Do: Help customers choose grills, smokers, accessories, rubs, sauces, and fuel. Learn premium BBQ brands and share product knowledge. Restock merchandise, and keep the store looking great. Assist with inventory, grill assembly, and occasional light deliveries. Help with in-store events, demonstrations, and cooking classes.
What We're Looking For: A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Retail or customer service experience is a plus. Ability to lift 25 lbs. and help move merchandise. Availability for some Saturdays and seasonal busy periods.
