Last day to pick up some native plants for the year! A few cold nights ahead, but it’s still a great time to plant native perennials, ferns, grasses, trees and shrubs as the soil temperature will be fine for a few more weeks.

Late September update:
- Fall sale is scheduled for Saturday, Oct 17th 9am - 1pm.
- The plant lists on the website are updated (for now). The ‘Current Availability’ list is the toughest to keep updated, as things go dormant or suddenly sell out due to a special order/project, or are removed from pots by a wild animal (yes, it happens). There will also be additions in the next few weeks to the lists (including plugs).
- Note that even if plants are listed as ‘sold out’ on current availability, feel free to check to see if I could still have more by the fall sale or for spring sales.
- Even if you don’t see a plant on any of the lists, ask! I might have a few that just didn’t make it on a list or I will know to start planning for next season.

The fall plant sale will be Saturday, October 17th , 9am - 1pm. That’s later than last year, but my fall family schedule this year has been crazy. No worries, it’s still a great time to plant natives! In the meantime, you can special order trees and shrubs, check on other availability and arrangements can be made for pickup if you cannot make it to the fall sale. The updated plug list and tree/shrub order list are both posted at the link below on the website:

Want to create your own paw paw patch? Create a bird habitat full of native berries? Start your own front yard arboretum? The fall tree/shrub special order list is now posted on the website! You can find the pdf at the link below. You do not need to print and mail it, you can just email your order. Pickup dates will depend on when I have enough orders filled. The goal for the first round of orders is Sat, Sept 26th.
The fall plant sale date is still TBD. Currently narrowed down to Sept 26th or Oct 17th. I’m still working on updating the fall plug list - hopefully by next weekend. So for now, the plug list and current availability on the website are not updated. I’ll keep you posted as lists and dates are finalized…

Today I worked on dividing the plants I started from seed over the winter. There are still many that are too small to separate or need another winter to germinate, so they’ll stay in their original pots. While starting from seed is more economical, the process requires a lot of patience, numerous steps and, in truth, a little luck (weather, critters digging/eating, seed germination rate and more). Hopefully the plants I divided today will be ready for you sometime in October!
