Good Morning ! All veggies are by donation only today so I can dry out the stand ! It's a bit soggy but the Farm Stand is OPEN today, Wednesday, July 29th til dusk, it's located at 770 Bishop Loop in Camp Creek, top of the driveway to the right, the Stand is self serve/self pay, cash box & QR codes for Venmo, Cash App & PayPal are posted. I've managed to restock Elderberry Hibiscus Syrup (with local honey), Sweet Hot Salsa, & Pickles, plus some new items ,Corn Cob Jelly, Tomato Jam, & Brushetta will be available today. There are Tomatoes, Yellow Squash, a few Zucchini, 1 bag of mixed mild Peppers ($3) Local Honey stocked along with other canned goods. There are Jumbo Sammich Maters ($2), German Pink, Better Boy, Mountain Gold & some Green Heirloom Maters, large maters are $1 each & small in baskets are 2/on$1. The veggies are all but done so grab them while you can ! All veggies today are by donation only, I had to move the tomatoes back for the shelves to dry from the storm yesterday so please come grab some so I can get the stand dryed out & back to normal. Happy Hump Day 🐫

Update - my oven is officially not working at all 😡 Thank y'all again for checking on the dog's & I, very much appreciated ❤️ The power came back on about 9 so it was only out about 4 hour's, we have amazing crews here that always get power back on quickly. The Farm Stand was a mess & soaked but still standing ( after Helene flipped it over it was anchored to the shop), the garden is destroyed & any taller vegetation is all laying down, I've seen many local posts about entire corn fields absolutely flattened so more than likely other crops will also be damaged , this growing season started out so great but it's definitely going to be very short. We had a few power surges before everything went out & now my oven is having issues & I have the Troyers Mountain View Summer Market this coming Saturday & a ton of baking to do so of course it would have to decide now was a good time to mess up😡 Now the power is out again...I swear it's been a week 🙄

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.

It's another one of those crazy weather day's so thanks to a great friend I have a whole lot of beautiful Roma Tomatoes that got roasted along with fresh basil plus fresh garlic from another amazing friend & it all became Brushetta, I got it canned before the nasty storms hit & it will be available tomorrow...if you're not familiar with Brushetta you're missing out 🍅🧄🧅🌿🧅🧄🍅
