Ten tiny joeys are helping write a new chapter in Australia's conservation story.

At Aussie Ark's Barrington Tops sanctuary in New South Wales, wildlife carers recently checked the pouches of female Tasmanian devils and discovered 10 healthy joeys developing safely. With more pouch checks still to come, conservationists are hopeful that even more young devils may be on the way.

Tasmanian devils disappeared from mainland Australia about 3,000 years ago, surviving only on the island of Tasmania. Today, carefully managed breeding and rewilding programs are working to restore the species to parts of its former range.

This year's discovery was especially encouraging after the sanctuary endured heavy rain and flooding. Despite the difficult conditions, both the mothers and their joeys were found healthy and thriving.

Every new joey is more than a birth it's another step toward bringing an ancient Australian species back where it once belonged.

Ravens are known for their intelligence. But they're also known for something else: their friendships with wolves.

The birds have been observed playing with wolf puppies, dropping sticks to tease them, and tugging on their tails just to get a reaction. It's not just play—it may be a way of testing the wolves' behavior. Some researchers believe ravens can recognize and bond with specific wolves in a pack.

It's a rare example of a bird and a predator forming a connection. Not just a partnership—but something closer to a friendship. 🐦🐺🤝

Read this: The vaquita is disappearing before our eyes. 😮

Fewer than 10 are believed to remain. An entire species is on the edge of extinction—not because it couldn't survive, but because of human activity.

Most people have never even heard of the vaquita. If that's the case, it's no surprise that so little attention is given to its fight for survival.

Extinction isn't just something that happened to the dodo or the dinosaurs. It's happening now, in our lifetime.

The future of the vaquita is uncertain, but awareness is where change begins. The more people who know its story, the harder it becomes to ignore.

Please share this post and help more people discover the world's rarest marine mammal. 🌊💙
