As we enjoy a (maybe not so) beautiful weekend of friends and family, we remember that this holiday is a solemn reminder of the true cost of war, not in dollars, but in human lives. The lives of people just like us who gave their own in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Today we will be donating 15% of every sale to the Travis Manion Foundation

In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion, USMC, was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis’ legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, “If Not Me, Then Who...”.

The Travis Manion Foundation empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to heal, to thrive, and to teach future generations. Guided by this ethos, veterans continue their service, build connections with one another to improve mental health outcomes, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as role models for youth.

have you seen the golden goose? she must have visited last night because our shop is brimming with gorgeous golden eggs! 🌼🪿

it’s an adult egg hunt! golden eggs are hidden all over the shop and inside are glittering crystals, discount codes, and one lucky egg even contains a pair of 14k and sapphire rainbow studs! 😱✨
come to the shop today to find an egg! to be fair to everyone, we are limiting the hunt to one egg per person. no cheating - once you touch it, it’s yours! no purchase required. the hunt is today only from 11-5. 🌿 we are closed tomorrow - easter sunday!

this concludes this year’s hunt but don’t worry! 🙏🏼 we had so much fun planning this that we will absolutely hold another hunt next year!

We're super excited to be hosting our annual Sparkling Scavenger Hunt again. It was a blast last year - we had people teaming up and strategically grid searching Greenport. Amazing.

Susan and I at Common Ground Fine Jewelry + Studio hid 5 holographic “You’re a Gem” stickers throughout the Village of Greenport. The first to find all five (and send us photographed proof!) will win a gorgeous 14k gold, sapphire, and diamond ring valued at $1,700. 💍✨

This is an FREE and ongoing hunt through the entire month of December into January! Our goal is to get everyone to go for a walk and enjoy all the beauty that Greenport has to offer. All of the stickers are ready to be found and every Sunday we’ll be posting hints on our website and on our Instagram so keep a close eye. 👀

We have some bittersweet news to share with you.

On January 1st, 2025 we will be discontinuing our silversmithing classes. I know, we're bummed too. Unfortunately, insurance costs have been super challenging to balance with our workshop pricing and we've found that it's just not sustainable to keep our classes going.

This was an immensely difficult decision to make as education is such an important cornerstone for our small business. Alexa's passion for teaching really shows in everything we do, and rest assured - that will never change. Anyone who has any questions about metalsmithing or gems is always welcome to stop in and chat with us.

If you want to take a workshop with us, we are scheduling private workshops through January 1st! Just send us an email or DM to start your booking.

In the meantime, we have some super fun additions and plans for the shop in 2025. We hope you’ll stick by our side for the journey!

I don’t know how you feel but summer went WAYYYY too fast. it’s wild, honestly. don’t get us wrong, cozying up in fall with a nice latte is amazing but damn… we just want a few more days at the beach first. 😅🌊
