I am crocheting toy hammocks for the kids room. I have one done for Scottie. It is approx. 3 feet across the front edge. These are great to hang in the corner of a kid's room to hold their stuffed animals. You could also put in the corner of a bathroom to hold towels and washcloths. I can make them smaller if you would like and any color. They will last a very, very long time unless someone cuts them with a sharp object. It is $15 for a large one, $10 for a medium size, and $5 for a small. If you look on etsy, others are charging $20-$38 for these.
