So here we are at the end…and the beginning of a new chapter. Thank you to all the friends we made during this incredible 5 year journey.

Please continue to buy local at our long-time friends Scuppernong Books and our new friends Book Ferret. Ordering books is made easy at Bookshop and benefits all independent bookstores. If you like to listen to your books, please consider Libro.fm. And, as a final thought to thwart the monopolistic big A, use Italic Type to track your TBR list and peruse reviews.

Dear Friends, we have news to share. Our little bookshop is closing. Our last day of business will be June 30.

The past five years have brought nothing but joy to the Book Sisters. Our customers have become friends and we’ve watched little ones go from board books to new readers and middle grade readers advance to YA romances. It’s been a privilege to place books in your hands to read and love. 📚📚

Our State Street friends have cheered us on from the beginning. Sarah 1 and Sarah 2 Vida pour Tea deserve a special mention. The smartest thing the Book Sisters did is to lease space across from Vida Pour Tea. The Sarahs answered every question we had and directed their customers to our doors whenever they had the chance. 💚💚

Some important items to consider as we wind down.

📚Use your gift cards and e-gift cards. Once we close they will no longer have any value.

📚The website will be taken down 5/25/23 and online orders will no longer be accepted.

📚All items in the store will be discounted prior to closing the store. All sales are final and no additional discounts (Greensboro Science Center) will be applied to purchases.

📚Store fixtures and other items in the store are for sale. If interested, stop in during our regular business hours.

Look forward to seeing you in the Shop over the next 60 days.
