The Tigers' Den: A Crochet Shop Handmade with love and a little bit of tiger ferocity When my twin sons were born in late 2010, my life changed utterly. You yarn junkies know what I mean.

Where (semi) order was, chaos began to reign. Slowly, my husband and I regained the upper hand. When the boys finally began sleeping all night long, I thought maybe I would have some time for myself again. I love these little guys more than anything, but as any parent can attest, kids can run you ragged. I picked up crocheting in college as something to do with my hands, and have kept up over the

years with afghans and baby blankets. The last one I made left me with an irritating amount of scrap yarn. Less than a skein, so not enough to make much, but not so much that you could buy just one more to use it up. So I decided to make my first hat. Surely it couldn't be that difficult? To my delight, it wasn't! And I was off. My days are filled with toddler craziness, so my evenings are devoted to relaxation. Among other things, crochet soothes me. I love creating beautiful things, and the happiness people get from receiving a handmade product. The Tigers' Den is named for my boys. They have Asian heritage through my family, and their Chinese zodiac sign is the Tiger, and so they are affectionately referred to as "the Tigers" by my mother.
