What do you see when you look at this picture?
Do you know what I see?
I see a little girl who’s world is like no other she spends her day learning to identify plants, pulling worms out of the dirt, singing songs that she makes up, climbing trees, riding in wheelbarrows, and lately her all-time favorite thing of role-playing the most wildest imaginative stories you can think of with whichever crew member will play with her! Today we played what she calls the muffin man which is actually a bakery owner who sells dirt and wheelbarrow muffins along with plastic muffins to trick his customers, we played paw patrol. We pretended to be her family, and we pretended to be a dog shelter. The belly laughs from her and the rest of us on the crew made for a really funny afternoon.
Sometimes there’s more to the day then just digging in the dirt it’s about teamwork, friendship, and joy, and isn’t that what life should be about? So very thankful for a crew that has become a family. . .
