📚 Guess Authors Contest! 📚

We have a fun contest for book lovers this week!

Challenge yourself to guess the authors. We have pictures of famous authors, and see how many you can identify.

Whoever guesses all of them correctly will win a bag of books!

Visit the YWCA Book Cellar and don’t forget to fill out the contest form. The last day to enter is Thursday, September 17.

The winner will be contacted by phone.

Our regular hours :
Monday: 4 PM–7 PM
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM

💙Remembering September 11 💙

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by that day.

May we never forget the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy. May we continue to honor those we lost by choosing kindness, standing together, and working toward a community rooted in peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

Take some time to grab your favorite book and enjoy a good read.

Need more books? Come to YWCA Book Cellar and find some new favorites. This week, we have lots of new releases and bestsellers on the shelves. Don’t let them stay there for long!

Due to the holiday weekend, the YWCA Book Cellar will be CLOSED this Saturday, September 5th.

We’ll be back open Saturday, September 12th, from 10 AM–2 PM.

Due to the holiday weekend, the YWCA Book Cellar will be closed Saturday, September 5th and will be open Saturday, September 12th from 10 AM - 2 PM.

In addition, due to the popularity of the free children’s book give away, the sale has been extended until the Literacy Children’s Fair on Saturday, September 19.

Join us for the 3rd Annual YWCA Literacy Children’s Fair on Saturday, September 19, from 1:00–3:00 PM at the YWCA Westmoreland County!
