I was flying home from California on Tuesday after spending some time with family, and somewhere during the flight I started scrolling through photos on my phone.
Then it hit meā¦
Weāve been open in Greensburg for four years. š¤
I honestly had one of those moments where I just sat there thinking about everything thatās happened since we first opened our doors.
Owning a small business is such a rewarding journey, but itās also humbling. There are always ideas waiting to be brought to life, projects you wish you had finished, and goals that seem to stay on the list a little longer than you planned.
For a while, I found myself focusing on everything I still wanted to do instead of everything weāve already accomplished. Iām learning that itās okay to slow down, give myself some grace, and remember that good things take time.
When I look back over these last four years, what stands out the most isnāt just the candles weāve pouredāitās the people weāve met along the way.
Every person who has walked through our doors, placed an online order, shared one of our posts, attended a workshop, recommended us to a friend, or simply encouraged us⦠youāve helped make Wicks & Wax Studio what it is today.
Thank you for choosing to support a small business like ours. It truly means more than youāll ever know.
Life can be a little chaotic sometimes. Between working full-time, running the studio, raising our sweet little guy, and trying to make time for family, there are days when it feels like weāre pulled in every direction. But I wouldnāt trade this journey for anything.
That plane ride home reminded me how excited I still am for whatās ahead.
This fall is going to be a fun one. Weāve been working on some new ideas, new experiences, and a fall collection that Iām so excited to finally share with you.
Weāre also planning a little anniversary celebrationānot just because Wicks & Wax Studio is turning four, but because we want to celebrate the people who have supported us from the very beginning and everyone whoās become part of our story along the way.
As I look back on these last four years, Iād love to look back with you.
Share your favorite memory from the studio, the scent youāll always associate with us, or one of your favorite photos from your visit. It would truly make my day to see them. š¤
Hereās to the first four years⦠and everything thatās still to come.
