Draw. Every. Single. Day.

Today would have been Joe Kubert's 100th birthday. DC celebrates the landmark talent, reprinting his DC Special spotlight that includes stories of his signature characters Sgt. Rock, Hawkman and Viking Prince. They also issued a cover retrospective that could have.easily been tripled in page count without any drop in quality.

Kubert is undoubtedly one of the all-time greats with a 70 year career where he excelled at multiple genres, his sons Andy and Adam have been superstar creators in their own rights, and a school that taught page composition and storytelling to Stephen R. Bissette, Rick Veitch, Timothy Truman, Amanda Conner, Jan Duursema, Adam Warren, Tom Mandrake, Scott Kolins, Steve Lieber, Dave Dorman and many more. He produced great art up through the end of his life, and had a hand in the development of so many other great artists.
