These seven photos show bookshelves, displays, and a cozy little bookstore.
But what I see is so much more.
I see conversations between neighbors who didn't know each other before they walked through our doors. I see friendships formed at book clubs and events. I see children picking out books with excitement, parents creating memories, and customers who have become friends.
Independent bookstores aren't just places that sell books.
They're gathering places. They're community spaces. They're where recommendations come from real people who know your favorite genres, remember what you bought last month, and get excited when the next book in a series arrives. They're where you can wander the aisles, discover something unexpected, and feel like you belong.
Big box stores and online retailers can sell books. But they can't create the connections that happen here. They can't host community events, support local causes, or greet you by name when you walk through the door.
Every independent bookstore is a reflection of the community that supports it.
Dog-Eared Pages exists because this community believed in it before it ever opened its doors. You showed up when it was just an idea. You shopped local. You attended events. You shared our posts. You told your friends about us. You chose to invest in a small business that invests right back into this town.
For that, I am endlessly grateful.
Thank you for making Dog-Eared Pages more than a bookstore. Thank you for making it a place where people gather, connect, and build community one story at a time.
We are here because of you. โค๏ธ
