Kid's Kingdom Kid's Kingdom is a children's resale boutique. We treasure all things Kid's! We offer cash or store credit for items that we buy.

At Kid's Kingdom we buy Kid's items that are gently used from customers and re-sell those items at our store. Kid's Kingdom was started by Lisa McGuire. Lisa has a master's degree and is a board certified behavior analyst who has worked with children with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs for over 15 years. In working with children it became apparent that it was difficult for therapists,

teachers, and parents to find items that were affordable and in good condition without spending a great deal of time searching numerous stores and sales. As a mother, Lisa also realized how quickly children outgrow clothes, gear, and toys and felt that the tremendous cost of these items could be put to better use (such as a college fund). This is where the idea for Kid's Kingdom arose. There are many great stores in the Pittsburgh area that buy and sell kids clothing, toys, and gear. But there are very few in Westmoreland County. There are also a lack of variety of toys (for all age groups) as well as educational/teaching materials, and therapy materials. When Lisa designed the store she wanted the store to be a magical place for children. Everywhere you look there are areas for children to play while you shop. The walls are interactive, we have a children's corral to keep little one's safe, a puppet stage/theater, and many more fun and exciting areas to explore. At Kid's Kingdom we hope that your children find the store as magical as we do. Please check out our pictures (coming soon) of the store.

We also have these items for sale. We are only open from 10:30-1:30 so unfortunately we cannot hold items 😞. We have bags of stuffed animals for free, a quad missing the charger for $5, our coveted puppet theater, security cameras, and various other baskets. I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff but feel free to stop in, we will be finishing up packing and cleaning so please excuse the mess.

Tomorrow is our last day 😞. I wanted to write a thank you to all of our customers and friends who have reached out and said “we will miss this store”, “we are so sad that you are closing”, etc. I am heartbroken and will miss this store too! It has meant a lot to me and my family and your encouragement and kindness has helped ease our sadness. Please check in to our page and website every so often. We have a couple of ideas we are checking into and we will post an update if anything pans out.

A reminder to all shoppers, we have always had a $10 minimum to use a credit card. This is posted in 3 locations. As a small business we are charged high processing fees. Please plan accordingly when coming to shop. Also, there are longer wait times to check out due to the number one of people coming to shop and volume of items that are selling. We appreciate your business but we would also appreciate your patience at this time. Thank you!

we have been getting alot of calls about prices of items - most of our 2 pc infant outfits, pj's, shirts, and shorts are $3.50 (.88 cents with discount), most of our jeans, sweaters, 2 pc older kids outfits and maternity are $4.50-$5.50 ($1.25 with discount), most winter coats are $6.50-$8.50 (3.25-4.25 with discount)

It is with great sadness that I am announcing the closure of Kid's Kingdom. We will be closing at the end of October. Unfortunately the decision had to be made in a short period of time - there are some structural issues with our space that are causing us problems - unfortunately the landlord is not willing to fix the issues and we are not able to pay for the extensive work that would need to be done. We have not found another location at this time, if we do, we will announce it on our website and this page. But for now, we are trying to sell our inventory. Clothing including maternity was at 50% off - it will now be 75% off - most items are under $1! Outerwear (coats, hats, gloves), holiday, accessories, and shoes are 50% off. Bedding sets, blankets, bathing items (tubs, towels, etc), diaper bags, sheets, cart covers, infant carriers, and carseat covers are 50% off. Baby gear (monitors, boppies, bumbo seats, walkers, swings, cribs, pack n plays, exersaucers, bassinets, etc) are all 25% off (that is 75% off of retail prices). Toys are all 25% off (there are a couple of exclusions that are not on sale such as NEW IN BOX items and power wheels). Thank you for all of your support over the last 5 years!
