These fabrics could not be more perfect for continuing with my teacher gift making. These past (almost) 2 years have been hard on everyone. I'm so grateful for the teachers and school staff who keep showing up for our kids and doing their best to keep them safe and healthy, despite their own struggles... 🌈 Thank you for your love, bravery, compassion, vulnerability, resilience - and so much more!

Also thank you to my dear sweet friend Nicki who gifted me these adorable fabrics for my birthday this year. 🥰

My is finally getting the care and attention she deserves. I sent her off to for long arm services and I'm hoping to get to binding this weekend!

This was one of the first quilts I made following a pattern. While it is a FQ friendly pattern, I actually used 1/4 yards. 😂 (The seams in this picture are some of the tidier ones!)

While making this quilt, I learned so much about the importance of precision... and even more about the value of being flexible and embracing imperfection!

Thank you for ALL the love on my last post! 🥰 Wow!! I didn't get a chance to do a Friday bundle yesterday but I did put together a couple of really fun custom bundles this week, including this one for my sweet insta-friend . Kymona makes all the things so beautifully!!! I can't wait to see what she makes with this!

Today is pattern release day for 's Square Peg Quilt! This really helped me build my half rectangle triangle skills and I love the result! It comes in 7 (seven!!) sizes and Elena has included very thorough instructions, diagrams, and tutorials to walk you through the process!

I made the pillow cover size and I already did a little machine quilting but am planning to add some hand quilting details using this Cosmo Hidamari Sashiko Thread. Be sure to check out the hashtag to see the other test quilts! They're *amazing*!!

I use all fabrics from our shop (Manchester for the background and a mix of Lucky charms, , and Decostitch Elements) for the rest.
