I don’t know about ya’ll but I teared up a bit when I saw our two week forecast 🥵. Two weeks of 100° temps and no rain in sight is just so frustrating! My large pots were showing strain under these temps so I decided to pull out those plants and replace them with dwarf Hameln grass to get us through the rest of the fall. Once temps cool off, I’ll add some cascading pansies to go around it. Until then, we are in survival mode 😩.
After a summer of full plants, I am loving the simplicity of these grasses and how graceful they are in the breeze.
