We know many of you have been wondering why our spring service opening has taken a little longer this year. About three weeks ago while nursing back problems, I received an offer from Odd Brothers Craft Cider in Homer Michigan and as bittersweet as it is, this marks a major transition for us with the sale of Greenville’s iconic Airstream Kitchen, a place that created so many unforgettable meals and moments.

After 17 incredible years, the time has come for us to turn the page to a new chapter in life. What started with a simple dream with a hot dog stand became something so much bigger because of hard work and the support from this amazing community. In taking stock of those years, I would have never dreamed of accomplishing so much.

It has been our great pleasure to serve generations of families, celebrate milestones with you, share laughter and loss through long lines and sweaty summers to build friendships that we will carry forever. Every order, every conversation, and every fussy request at the window helped shape this story in ways we never fully expected. These years have also brought life altering winters in the islands, where I have built a home, met larger than life personalities, and have found a bonus family.

We leave with full hearts and deep gratitude. Thank you for supporting a small business, believing in silly dreams, and allowing us to be part of your lives for nearly two decades. Your kindness, loyalty, and tastebuds carried us through every season.

While it is difficult to say goodbye, we do so with grace, humility, and an overwhelming thankfulness for the memories we’ve made together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for 17 unforgettable years. It’s been quite a party!
