The new Public Health and Environmental Laboratory in Columbia is a state-of-the-art facility serving the S.C. Department of Public Health (DPH) and SC Department of Environmental Services (SCDES).

Replacing a nearly 50-year-old facility, the four-story laboratory was designed to expand testing capacity, incorporate advanced technology, and create a safer, more flexible environment for the critical work happening inside. This facility will support South Carolina’s public health and environmental needs for decades to come.

Young Office was proud to provide the furniture for a space built around innovation, collaboration and some very important work.

A fresh new look for a space where the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities community comes together every day.

We were thrilled to help furnish the school’s newly redesigned dining hall, creating a colorful, inviting space designed for connection, conversation, and everyday campus life.

The space features a mix of high-top and standard-height tables, comfortable chairs, and booth seating, giving students plenty of options to gather, dine, study, and connect.

A big thank you to , Inc. for bringing us into the project and to GreenGen35 for helping bring it all together during installation.

We love seeing how thoughtful design can transform an everyday space into one students actually want to spend time in.

Kimberly brings a genuine passion for building relationships with clients and partners, and she’s the kind of teammate who is always willing to jump in and get things done. She’s hardworking, selfless, competitive, and a joy to work with. We’re lucky to have her on the Young Office team!

💡 If you were a piece of furniture, what would you be and why? A standing lamp - helpful, bright, bringing clarity to a room.
📞 What’s something you like to do the old-fashioned way? Talking instead of texting or emailing. I believe technology has taken some of the personality out of work and miss the days of having a conversation by phone or, even better, in person.
🎨 Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field? I studied Fashion Merchandising and have always loved putting things together and making them tell a story. I love taking a blank canvas and turning it into something beautiful that brings joy to the people who interact with it.
☕ One thing you can’t live without? My Christian faith and a delicious hot mocha latte!

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Roper St. Francis Healthcare through the furnishing of its new Health Pavilion at Sawmill Centre in Summerville, South Carolina.

From welcoming waiting areas and clinical spaces to caregiver workstations and staff breakrooms, each environment was thoughtfully furnished to support comfort, efficiency, and the important work happening throughout the facility every day.

Our team was proud to help furnish Baseline GVL, creating comfortable, inviting spaces where players can relax, connect, and recharge before and after hitting the courts.
