One, two, Threeeeee!!! 🤩 Hummingbird hat trick! 💜

The little moments you’re so glad to have a camera at hand!

Ruby-throated hummingbirds are notoriously territorial at the feeders. You wonder how they sate their appetite when they’re chasing each other constantly.

It is suspected that when more than one of this species are seen eating together they’re likely fledglings with their mother. Such a cool sight to see.

Seeing this a fledgling Blue Jay made our day! 💙

They’re so big it’s hard to tell who’s the baby when they’re both at the feeder.

Did you know young blue jays will stay with their parents another 8-12 weeks after fledging? Parents continue to help feed and car for the juveniles as they develop stronger flight and foraging skills.
