A little behind the scenes from a recent shopping trip with a client.

I take pictures as we shop so I can keep track of what we're finding and how the pieces will work together.

Then after our shopping trip, I put together looks for her so she doesn't get home with a bunch of new clothes and wonder, “Now what do I wear with all of this?”

It’s one of my favorite parts of what I do, showing a client just how many outfits she can create from what we found together.

One thing I've noticed after years of helping women get dressed...

Women apologize.

They apologize for their closets.

They apologize for their changing bodies.

They apologize because they don't know what goes together anymore.

They apologize for buying clothes they never wear.

They apologize before we've even started.

The truth is, you never need to apologize to me.

Life changes. Bodies change. Our wardrobes don't always keep up.

My job isn't to judge where you are today. It's to help you figure out what works for the life you're living now.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is watching a woman stop second-guessing herself and start feeling confident again.

And that has very little to do with clothing.
