These magazines were shipped by USPS Ground Advantage. They were nice enough at some point to wrap and secure the magazines that remained in the box. So at some point did someone not recognize loose magazines near this open box? It has caused a great inconvenience. I'm thankful they realize this mail is important to us. Did they really make every effort to prevent this situation from happening? They let us know that they care and hope we understand. Well I don't quite understand.

We are often tasked with unique request. The Coushatta Citizen Newspaper in Louisiana had their old bound newspaper books taken apart to be digitally copied and we were asked to rebind them back in the original covers.

This is a very common looking book however it has some uniqueness to it. The spine was broken and sewing was loose and on top of that the inside cover was autographed by the author Martin Luther King Jr. The owner asked it there was any way to keep the autograph? In 95% of the times it is not possible however we were using the original cover to repair and were able to salvage the writing and still keep it looking most original as possible.

Every so often we are asked to rebind a Bible that has been in a fire. In most cases the dwelling burned to the ground but the Bible survived. Some request rebind the Bible as it is without any type of mending and some want pages replaced and mended.

We are often asked why it takes ten weeks to bind my Bible? We take a group of 75 to 100 through the process at a time. This group will be finished within a few days of one another.

My dad started work here when he was 15 years old. He is 90 and still helps with all of the Family Bibles.
