Hancock County farmland is under pressure.
Some of that pressure comes from development. Some comes from investors. Some comes from the simple reality that land is expensive, and farming is hard.
There are many farmers still working this land every day, including corn and soybean farmers. They are part of our county’s agricultural history and economy.
