Upstate Instrument Repair This is a locally owned and run business that specializes in instrument repair. We work with band instruments meaning all woodwinds and brass instruments.

Welcome to my newly opened instrument repair shop. My name is Bob Cotter and I have been working with George Roberts to conduct local instrument repairs in the upstate area. After 42 years in education it is now my honor to work with band directors and provide their students with the best instrument repairs available. We realize that often a musical instrument is more than a piece of metal or wood

, but often an extension of the student, their technique, and talents. With our wide range of musical knowledge we work together to try and bring you the most cost efficient and best repairs in the upstate. Coming from a music education background as well as having served in several states, we understand that time is of the essence in the world of music and performance.

Well, another summer has been survived. We cleaned and fixed over 100 instruments and got them all returned to their owners. . . . even after a stay in the hospital.

All instruments are given a mandatory instrument checkup meaning we will look for any other problems associated with repairing your instrument and not just ones that are obvious. Thank you!
