Today’s bite was tough! This video shows a single fish not budge even though I was pretty close. Then the single fish paired up with a second fish. I finally got the first fish to turn, but it gave up pretty quick. I got lucky when the fish started swimming toward the boat. As I was backing away from the fish, my jig was able to suspend and I let it fall back into the face of the fish…and it bit.

Another great day on the lake casting OG! Grenada water has finally cleared up nicely..just in time for the fall draw down! Bite was a bit slower today. The fish wanted it quite still or barely moving away!

Fun day backnon the water! Late start today due to a flat tire but it didn’t matter! Chubby in the OG color was on fire!

Hey Redgrass family! 🎣

Our goal at Redgrass has always been pretty simple: make a better bait.

Over the years, we feel like we’ve made some huge strides toward that goal — and a lot of that has come from listening to the people who actually fish our baits.

So… we want to hear from YOU.

We’ve got some new color combinations in the works for the upcoming year, but somewhere out there, one of you has that color stuck in your head that you’ve always wished somebody would make.

Maybe it’s two colors you’ve never seen together.

Maybe it’s a twist on an old-school favorite.

Maybe it’s something completely off the wall that you just KNOW would catch fish. 😂

I got an invite from Terry Thomas to ride in his new rig. The morning bite was on fire! It slowed to a hault by noon but not before 19 slabs were pulled in. Yep, “the last fish” won today! We started with true minnow and red belly, but switched to OG and AC Special for most of the day. The bright colors worked well!
