The Gretna Police Department is officially kicking off this 2026 traffic safety campaign to keep our community safe.

๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ•, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, officers will be participating in the statewide "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" initiative, coordinated by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission and funded through Traffic Safety Marketing.

What to Expect:
โ€ข๐ƒ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ: August 14 โ€“ September 7, 2026
โ€ข๐„๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐œ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ: High-visibility officer presence, and dedicated saturation patrols
โ€ข๐…๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฌ: Identifying drivers impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing medications
