Families4Families will be doing 4 home visits in our area (Griffin area) this Sat. (24th) & Sunday (25th)! There is still an opening for a Sat. morning visit and Sunday afternoon. Do not be afraid...this is a visit to see where you are and how to get to where you need to be and a time to collect information. The state requires 3 home visits now, but in July they will start requiring 7 so if you are interested in becoming a respite family (housing a child until they find a foster home-typically 1-7 days) or becoming a foster family, please try to take this first step. It's a great time to ask questions and get an individual plan set up for your family to start sharing God's love with these children during these difficult times in their lives. We will have the totals posted this week as to how much was raised for Fortify Georgia. We did not want to wait too long to tell everyone how much we appreciated you! Consignors put in long hours tagging, volunteers helped sort, set up and break down. Customers bought loads of items. Every person involved helped raise funds and awareness for foster families.

Special thanks to Ginger Smith Mitchell and Savannah Lee for tagging most of the Fortify Tagging items. Cherry Wright and Bree Jones donated so many items and donated time. We had a number of others who donated items also and thank you so much for that. Lee Jones helped pack and deliver two trucks of items donated to the Fortify Resource Center. Sherrell Elaine Crawley, Taylor Morgan Spratling, Christy Cook, Nevis Manning, Woody Howard (and the list goes on) helped set up, break down and make it happen! Also, Kim Pendleton and all the Fortify volunteers. She was just supposed to just be at her Fortify table and ended up working her tail off!!

Annette White partnered this whole project setting up all technical aspects of the sale and tallied up everyone's results (didn't most of you consignors like getting paid at pick up?) along with putting in many hours of prep and set up.

We knew this was a God sized dream and are blessed to have completed it. We will let you know exact results later the week so you can see what all your hard work accomplished!
