Many Hands Thrift Market is the Des Moines area's most unique marketplace to find high quality, low priced secondhand goods for the whole family! As part of the non-profit ministry, Many Hands for Haiti, the proceeds go to support local and global missions. Not everyone is in a place to give financially. Many Hands Thrift Market eliminates all those barriers to get involved with missions globally

by providing an opportunity for people from the local community to get involved by either buying items or volunteering, without having to go to Haiti. Many Hands Thrift Market first opened on August 2 in Spencer, IA in 2013. The Market opened with the goal of providing the local community a way to give back, while providing steady revenue to continue the missions of Many Hands for Haiti. From just a dream, this store has been a blessing from God. Whether volunteering or shopping, the Market continues to provide ways to bless people in communities both near and far.

1️⃣ You buy a book or a piece of furniture at our store, which literally helps pay a teacher's salary or buy seeds for a global farm.
2️⃣ Those resources create stability (education, food security, economic opportunity) in forgotten communities.
3️⃣ Volunteers and teams head out on our Impact Trips to serve alongside these global partners, and they come back with their hearts on fire! Those passionate, transformed people come home and pour even more love and resources back into our thrift markets!
