They’ve quietly become a bit of an IYKYK around town.

Around here, fish flies are the official first sign of summer every June. As reliable as boats returning to the water, pools opening for the season, and everyone settling in for long summer evenings.

Available in both small and large sizes, our Fish Fly hats have become a favorite for locals, lake people, and anyone who understands the assignment.

It’s official… the fish flies have arrived!

Around here, fish flies are the unofficial first sign of summer.

They show up for a few short weeks, take over every wall, porch and dock in sight, and then disappear almost as quickly as they arrived.

And in true TWAL fashion, we’re celebrating.

Over the next few days, we’ll be rolling out some Fish Fly favorites along with a few brand-new additions to one of our most popular collections.

Over the years, our Fish Fly designs have become some of our most-loved and requested products—appearing on everything from our signature Grosse Pointe Pop Art lucite and lacquer trays and water bottles to hats, stickers, apparel, coasters, needlepoint collaborations and more.

Love them or hate them, fish flies have become part of the story of summer around here.

The outdoor event had to be moved indoors at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, but we’re not mad about it. Always a beautiful way to spend the day here in the gorgeous ballroom. We are here till 4pm with lots of other amazing local vendors!Open to the public! Come see us!

Our collab with Saturnalia Stitching has been such a delight, and now we are thrilled to be carried at The Knotted Needle!

Our (6) new 4" rounds are great beginner or advanced canvases - as they are small and not too detailed. Abbey did beautiful background stitches to add detail and texture - for those of you who are more advanced in your stitching journey!
